Anthony C. Calagna

Chief Anthony C. Calagna began his career in 1969 with the Houston Fire Department. During his 20 years with H.F.D. he was promoted to the rank of District Chief. On July 1, 1990 Chief Calagna accepted the position of Fire Chief with the Village Fire Department.

Assistant Fire Chief

Assistant Fire Chief Poirier
Richard E. Poirier, Jr.

Assistant Chief Richard E. Poirier Jr. started his career in 1973 with the Olmos Park Fire Department in San Antonio Texas. He came to the Village Fire Department on October 1, 1977 as a Fire Fighter, when the department was still named the Spring Branch Fire Department. Chief Poirier worked his way from Fire Fighter, to Paramedic. He was promoted to Shift Captain in 1984 , and to Fire Marshal in August of 1986. Chief Poirier created the Office of the Fire Marshal for The Village Fire Department in which he was responsible for fire inspections and fire investigations for the Memorial Villages. Chief Poirier was promoted to Assistant Fire Chief in September of 1996.

Deputy Fire Marshal

Rusty Kattner

Rusty Kattner is the Deputy Fire Marshal for the Village Fire Department. Inspector Kattner is responsible for the public fire education, residential and commercial fire inspections, plan reviews, and fire investigations for the Memorial Villages area.
